Last Words has entered production, with the first weekend of shooting over and done with. The filming took place out at Enchanted Springs Ranch in Boerne, TX.
“Everything went very well. We got some great film and we actually finished one hour earlier than planned,” producer Paul Tinder said of the first day’s shoot.
The movie, starring Tom Lagleder, is being filmed with 3 Canon 5 D Mark II’s.
“We never would be able to even attempt what we are doing without these cameras, ” Paul added about the fact that they are shooting the entire movie over the course of the next four weeks, “They take amazing footage.”
The second day’s shooting went great in spite of the weather. The directors and producer looked at the first rough assembly of some of the scenes they shot and “THEY LOOK GREAT”! Amazing images and that is before color correcting. They’ll do a rough assembly as we go along so we’ll have a rough cut of the film shortly after completing principle photography.
The cast and crew will be back at Enchanted Springs Ranch the next two weekends. The last weekend will be split between the ranch and a nearby San Antonio farm.
